Rubber Band Bracelets are found everywhere these days, and more importantly they are getting more and more popular. One of the major reasons they have gotten so much attention lately, especially in the media outlets is because of what they have the ability to stand for.
It’s one thing to just be another fashion accessory, but it’s another to also add on that it can be used quite easily as a promotional tool and also an alert to certain types of causes, or diseases that need more attention from everyone. By wearing one that is associated with ideas and charities you can do a good dead simply by wearing something you liked already.
The first Rubber Band Bracelet I had was the Lance Armstrong bracelet which is what actually started the entire craze. It worked very well for that cause and a lot of people took notice and realized it can do a lot. Just by wearing a rubber band on your arm you can do more than you would by wearing another item, outside of say, a t-shirt that had it on the front and back. There are not a lot of places you could get away with wearing that shirt, say at work for instance. On the other hand simply being able to put a bracelet you can do that. One great thing is that they come in many colors as well so you can get one that matches your outfit a great deal.
If you choose to put your own message on it, you could customize your bracelet at many places on the internet and simply have it shipped to you. I’ve seen some instances where people order a great deal of them for a personal crusade such as a local charity or event and they are looking for an inexpensive way to get the word out on it. Because of the low cost of creating Rubber Band Bracelets it’s not a surprise that they would go this route. I suggest looking into this for an avenue and cheap outlet for advertising. Keep this in mind for the next time you might want to spend money on a new banner, brochures and other things you could throw money at.

What is the difference between silicone bracelets and rubber band bracelets? Not much. The fact remains that if you are looking for one, you are looking for the other. Silicone and rubber are both some of the most durable material ever invented. Just think of all the possibilities that are available for someone wearing a silicone bracelet or rubber wristband compared to someone who is wearing, oh let’s say, a leather bracelet? What happens if you get the leather bracelet wet? It’s ruined! What happens if you get a silicone bracelet wet? It dries off or doesn’t even get wet to begin with!
There are so many numerous advantages to getting and wearing, or even giving them as gifts that anyone who has tried one is usually hooked immediately. I’ve found that people who are in love with wearing bands of any sort around their wrists fall in love pretty quickly with all the features of silicone and rubber bracelets.
Can you customize other types of wristbands? Not likely, and if you do get lucky enough to be able to, it will cost you a lot more than it will to customize a rubber band bracelet, that’s for sure. The bottom-line remains that if you do want to get the best bang for your bracelet buck, you should go with silicone because of it’s durability, ability to be customize for pretty much nothing and it’s myriad of other features that would blow your mind!
